Ecosystem Restoration Communities is represented by Stichting Ecosystem Restoration Foundation (Stichting E.R.F.), a not-for-profit foundation in the Netherlands. You should be aware that Stichting E.R.F. is not responsible for the privacy policy of other sites and sources. By using this website, you indicate that you accept the privacy policy.

Stichting E.R.F. respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially.

Use of our services

When you sign up for one of our services, we ask you to provide personal data. This data is used to perform the service. The data is stored on Stichting E.R.F’s  own secure servers or that of a third party such as our donation-platform, our Knowledge Exchange Hub, or payment service providers. We will not combine this information with other personal information available to us.

Communication

When you send email or other messages to us, we may save those messages. Sometimes we ask you about your personal information relevant to the relevant situation. This makes it possible to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on Stichting E.R.F.s own secure servers or that of a third party (such as Google, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox). We will not combine this information with other personal information available to us.

We collect data for research in order to gain a better understanding of our website visitors, so that we can tailor our services to this.

This website uses “cookies” (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website can be transferred to Stichting E.R.F.’s own secure servers or that of a third party. We use this information to track how you use the website to draw up reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage. Purposes

We do not collect or use any information for purposes other than the purposes described in this Privacy Policy unless we have obtained your consent in advance.

We collect your data to process your payments and to send you newsletters or supporter-related e-mails. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we only use your data for this newsletter. 

We will not use your data for direct marketing, except for a one-time transmission of our newsletter if you have registered as a member through our website.

Third parties

The information is not shared with third parties except web applications that we use for the benefit of our website and supporter registration. This data will only be used for the purpose of the application and will not be further distributed. Furthermore, in some cases the information can be shared internally. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
