Greenpop ReforestFest (South Africa)

Greenpop ReforestFest (South Africa)

Reforest Fest is ERC Greenpop’s annual tree-planting celebration that combines restoration with fun!

Held at Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat (just 3 hours’ drive from Cape Town), this long weekend is packed with interactive art, theater, workshops, and talks for all ages. Get active for the planet by planting trees, enjoy live music and DJs under the stars, and savor delicious eats at the food village.

Each year, participants plant 5,000 to 10,000 indigenous trees, supporting Greenpop’s mission to restore degraded forest patches at Platbos Forest Reserve and Bodhi Khaya. With over 150,000 trees planted so far, the project is expanding the forest and protecting the natural habitat for many wildlife species.
